Our graduates are eligible to take, and are well prepared for, the United States
Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) Steps 1 and 2. American Global University is
approved and chartered by the Country of Belize and is recognized and accredited
by the Ministry of Health and Education in Belize.
AGUSM was established to provide a comprehensive basic science and
clinical medical education, leading to the completion of a Doctor of
Medicine degree. Enrollment is open to all persons, regardless of
race, national origin, religion, sex or age, who wish to devote the
extensive time and effort necessary to practice medicine. The
University maintains educational exchanges and affiliations with
universities worldwide.
