The Office of Financial Aid (OFA) at the Medical University provides tuition payment plans to qualified students, helping them manage the cost of medical education. Our payment plans are flexible, and designed to meet the needs of students’ specific requirements.

Tuition payment plan programs are renewable, short-term or long-term plans, which split the tuition fees into equal monthly installments.

The programs are based on students making monthly payments. Students or their families make payments throughout semester, year or program instead of paying a lump sum up front and in full.

HOW IT WORKS*First semester students read first semester eligibility One tuition payment in full Basic Science Student is placed on a payment plan of four equal payments.

Clinical Science Student is placed on payment plan of three equal payments.

Student is assessed a 5% finance fee and 5% payment plan initiation fee.

IS THIS FOR YOU?*First semester students read first semester eligibility Plan A is designed for the student who can pay full tuition by semester due date.Semester tuition will be paid in full by the 20th day of the month prior to semester start date. Plan B is designed for the student who is able to pay full tuition for each semester but requires spreading payments out throughout the semester period. Plan C is designed for the student, who is unable to meet the requirements of an entire semester tuition balance per semester, but is committed to the program and is able to make smaller on time consecutive monthly payments.

Clinical Students: Since clinical students are on a different semester schedule than basic science semesters, payment of tuition will be due 14 days prior to the start of a new clinical semester and may not fall on the dates listed above.

Eligibility:

  1. Payments must be received by the University in designated payment amounts by due dates.  Late payments received will be assessed a 10% late payment penalty and will result in immediate suspension of class attendance.  If payment is not received within five business days of payment due date, student will be suspended from semester receiving no semester credit.  Suspended student will not be permitted to resume coursework until start of following semester.
  2. *First semester eligibility – to be eligible to participate in payment plans B or C, newly enrolled student are required to fulfill student seat deposit of $1000 USD and an additional $2500 USD toward enrolled semester prior to placement on Plans B or C.
  3. Students missing a payment, making a late payment, or taking leave of absence will not be eligible for scholarship.
  4. Transcripts will not be supplied to students with tuition balances.
